Ok the Halloween hunting starts tonight so i decided to blog earlier instead today. So where are you people be heading tonight, tomorrow night or even on Sunday night, care to share with me?? A little facts on Halloween itself - Halloween is on October 31st, the last day of the celtic calendar. It was originally a pagan holiday honoring the dead. On the night of day, people will dress up all sorts of costumes. Here are some places you might wanna check out tonight, tomorrow night and Sunday night -
1) FrightFest Where: The Singapore Flyer Scare tactic: Bone-chilling ghouls and Chinese ghosts will be lurking to spook the living daylights out of you. 2) Museum of Horrors II Where: *SCAPE at Orchard Road Scare tactic: The special Halloween attraction boasts Asia's first 3D Horror Funhouse: dioramas of famous Hollywood scary movies, augmented by performances from live actors. Follow a creepy maze filled with unexpected twists and visitors can play victim or get tortured by their favourite horror movie characters — and it all gets captured on film for a truly one-of-a-kind cinematic experience. Admission: $22
3) Zouk's Halloween 2011 presents Rites & Rituals Where: 17 Jiak Kim Street Scare tactic: Party the night away with fellow cult members through special Zouk deadly mazes and torture chambers. Free entry will be given to partygoers in full costume, and if you're wearing the night's top outfit, there's pair of air tickets to Frankfurt, Germany for the winning. Bonus treat: Number 1 Costume Costume is offering 15% discount when you present the Zouk Halloween flyer when making a purchase. Admission: Free (if you're in costume). Non-courageous sorts have to pay $28 (for ladies) or $33 (for gents).
4) Spooktacular Sentosa Where: Imbiah Lookout and Merlion Plaza, Sentosa Scare tactic: Six trails across the main Sentosa attractions — Sentosa Nature Discovery, The Merlion, Cable Car Museum, Butterfly Park & Insect Kingdom, Images of Singapore and Sentosa 4D Magix and Sentosa CineBlast — will be interspersed with heart-stopping and… flesh-eating insects! Admission: $39.90 to $69.90 (depending on how many trails you're keen to get your haunted kicks off)
5) Halloween Horror Nights Where: Universal Studios Singapore Scare tactic: Goodbye family-friendly amusement park, hello park from hell! Various unique scare zones will have you terrified by corpses-consuming zombies in post-apocalyptic New York or wonder if you'll survive "Vengeance of the Matriarch," an old-school Peranakan Mansion with a dark twist. There is also a macabre movie director who directs a true-to-life horror show and bizarre creatures lurking around the park that provide enough nightmare fodder to last a lifetime. Admission: $60 for Halloween Horror Nights Pass. No child ticket prices available; no admission for children under 13.
